But our body wants cholesterol to digest foods produced hormones and to protect our cells. Confusion about cholesterol exists because many people don't realize there is a difference between blood cholesterol and dietary cholesterol.

Cholesterols name originates from the Greek word choler and stereos due to researchers originally finding it in gallstones in a solid form. It circulates in the blood and is used as a building product for all the body's cells cholesterol can be found in high concentrations in the muscles, brain and liver and many sex hormones.
